The Thüringer Salonquintett was featured on National Public Radio's
"Performance Today" with an hour-long "live" studio performance /
interview with Martin Goldsmith in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, January 20, 1999. The
show was broadcast to over 230 local PBS stations across the country. Reactions on their
NPR broadcast and from audiences and presenters throughout the country were so universally
superlative, that the group has already begun negotiations for tours extending several
years into the next century.
